you. Offering education about your condition and your mood, thoughts, and behaviors that is part of a
collaborative process. The opportunity to learn healthy coping skills and stress management is planned
together with you and your Therapist.

Substance Abuse/Dependancy focused on individuals and includes their families, spouses, and significant
others'. Promoting resilience. Incorporates evidenced based Cognitive Behavioral based approach that ad-dress
thinking errors; 12 step education; in-crease of coping skills. Uses Motivational Interviewing Therapy;
Cognitive Behavioral approaches; commitment and acceptance theories. Focused on a whole vision, live long
changes, Bio-Psycho-Social generated results.

Early Intervention explores positive/negative of using; addresses effects of substance on body/brain
short-/long term; Using Motivational Interviewing Therapy for optimum results. Further explores stages of
addition and progression.

Circle of Girls a gender specific two separate programs for pre adolescent girls  (New Program) and the
original adolescent girls to promote resilience and self esteem. A 2007 study indicates that Girls Circle groups
are very beneficial to girls' well-being.  Significant findings include: decreases in alcohol use; decreases in
self-=harming behaviors; increases in attachment to school; and increases in self-efficacy. Girls Circle is a
promising approach in the Model Programs Guide of the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency
Prevention. Recent additional modules have been added to these programs and is currently in place.

Council of Boys and Young Men (New Program) - Boys and Young Men need a gender-specific group
pro-gram to have a safe, protected, and focused place to address an array of harsh realities and to create
healthy options for growing up male today. Findings of recent studies tell ys that boys are not faring well in
areas of education, mental health, health care access, bullying, violence, or substance abuse in these new
millennia,

Mother and Daughters Circle, mothers or female caregivers and their daughters join together in combined and
age-appropriate groups to strengthen their bonds through shared listening, creative expression, and skill
building. "Heart of the Matter" promotes empathy, communication skills, stress reduction, setting limits an
honoring boundaries, exploring meanings and messages about female identity, identifying relationship
accountability, and experiencing affirmation together and within their broader female community.
